›Selection guidelines for Comet, Galaxy 3000, Pulsar MX, Comet EX/RT according to the protected applications	- Super-server, mini computer, mainframe - Telecommunications, medical, industrial equipment
› Localize and identify principal subassemblies	- Rectifier-charger - Inverter - Static switch - Manual by-pass - Batteries
›Analysis and interpretation of signaling
› Operation of Ups System	- Functional sequences : AC power failures and normal conditions, slow and instantaneous overload on operation, operation on batteries, conditions of transfer between UPS mains, coupling sequence on UPS - Starting and stopping sequences - Starting of charger and inverter functions
› Visit of the UPS factory at Montbonnot
