› Designing an installation :	- to understand the general principles of a high-availability installation, - to be able to choose among installation diagrams (stand alone, parallel, redundant, STS...) the best appropriate one - to define the quality criteria of power (harmonic pollution compensation)
› Understanding the UPS and its environment: :	- to know the different types of disturbances - to be able to better choose a UPS according to its operating principles and external constraints (EMC, harmonics, earthing systems, proctection, selectivity), - calculation of cable sections and proctections - upstream / downstream UPS discrimination - UPS sizing
